Features Include:

Standard rack depth front to rear rails is 30 in. Each lid is 4.5 in. deep.
Redesigned rack frame with threaded steel rails and aluminum cross components forming and "H"-shaped rigid configuration.
Unique "plug" style lid sealing system. Lids penetrate the body of the rack cases with an approximate 1 in. molded-in protrusion that provides outstanding sealing and anti-shear properties.
Patent-pending compound hinge system allows the lids to swing out 270° and rest along the sides of the case or easily be removed and reinstalled in seconds. (No more looking for somewhere to store the lids when the cases are in use).
Front and rear rack doors are fitted with rubber gaskets for water, dust and sand resistant protection.
Recessed heavy duty twist latches allow these cases to meet most ATA and military specifications.
These portable rack cases stack securely with wheels on or off and this revolutionary design also allows for both lids to open completely while cases are stacked.
All sizes come standard with 8 each HM-245 elastomeric, high damping, wide temperature range shock mounts with a load range of 40 – 150 lbs.
Additional or stiffer shock mounts may be ordered from the factory and are easily field-installed (call for details and availability).
Standard high quality slide-in/out locking swivel 4 in. casters rated at 1,200 lbs are included in the case price.
Automatic ambient pressure equalization valve (MIL-STD-648C).
Black powder coated stainless steel key-lockable latches.
Comfortable, spring-loaded, rubber over-molded handles on the cases.

SKB's new design portable rack is an 6U, 8U or 10U rack case. These cases have a 30 in. deep roto-molded shock rack which should be an instant success with all companies using deeper servers, power supplies and equipment. And, significantly, no one else manufactures a shockrack that has a 30 in. deep rack aluminum frame that fits in side the center portion of the heavy duty rotomolded case shell.
